Thanks For Being A Part Of Family Weekend And The Panther Prowl In 2021!

The UWM campus came alive this past weekend with the return of the Panther Prowl and Family Weekend. The day began with runners and walkers of all ages raising money for student scholarships. Then, families of current students enjoyed a variety of activities throughout the day, including shows at the UWM Planetarium and a performance by ComedySportz.

UWM Eliminates Dozens Of Enrollment Holds As Part Of Moon Shot Work

UWM has eliminated more than three dozen administrative or financial holds that can prevent students from enrolling in classes and hinder their path to graduation. The work is the result of a comprehensive review of holds that started in April as part of the university’s participation in the Moon Shot for Equity initiative, which is dedicated to ensuring that students of various racial and ethnic backgrounds graduate at the same rate by 2030. The Campus Connect Suicide Prevention Training is an interactive, experientially-based workshop designed to improve participants’ suicide intervention skills and develop a network of individuals at UWM who are prepared to assist in identifying and supporting students in crisis.
