Johns Hopkins APL Supports Climate TRACE’s Expanded Database of Greenhouse Gas Emissions

In continued support of the Climate TRACE coalition, APL used a combination of machine learning, satellite imagery and localized emissions data to advance its accurate, scalable and easily configurable greenhouse gas monitoring framework for road transportation.

NASA’s Balloon Mission GUSTO Mapping the Space Between the Stars

Amid the cacophony of penguins and seals, scientists from APL and the University of Arizona celebrated the new year with the launch of NASA’s newest balloon mission GUSTO. The airborne telescope will study molecular clouds of gas and dust between the stars.
