Curious who else from your area is headed to Tulane this year? Well, wonder no more by attending a Hello Wave reception for incoming students and families! These events allow you to connect in your hometown with past, current, and future Tulanians before heading to campus.
Hello Wave receptions will take place from June through early August. Check out the complete list and register for a Hello Wave reception near you below. More locations will be added throughout the summer, so check back later if you don’t see one in your area.

To help you stay on track, be sure to use the New Student Checklist, located within the New Student Modules. This resource highlights important tasks and deadlines to guide your transition to Tulane.

Below are just a few of the checklist items to complete in May:

Review the and complete the Pre-Registration Survey (located in the Advising section of Module 2).

May 24: Complete the ALEKS Calculus Placement test

If you plan to take Calculus at Tulane this fall, the ALEKS online math assessment will help your College Advisor recommend the Calculus course that fits your current readiness.
- Complete the Application for Academic, Housing, & Dining Accommodations.

Request Accommodations through the Goldman Center for Student Accessibility and submit any necessary documentation.
- Review Technology Options
- Check with the Technology Connection campus store for back-to-school computer specials. Tech Connect also has a loaner and repair program for students.
