FREE inclusive STEM learning opportunity for middle-school age learners! |
Are you interested in sharing a universe of STEM learning opportunities with middle-school age learners? If so, we invite you to join YouthAstroNet, an online community of young people, educators, and scientists! Students will gain customized access to remotely controlled robotic telescopes and image-processing software tools to enhance their own (and NASA’s) astronomical images.
Educators receive free online training, activity guides, and community support to help facilitate these activities. Educators who participate in the project also contribute to research on STEM learning by having their students complete pre and post surveys and will receive $500 for this participation. This program is run by educators and researchers from the Smithsonian Institution and Harvard University at the Center for Astrophysics.
