COVID-19 UPDATES
  • All students must receive a booster when eligible or request an exemption in compliance with the COVID-19 booster requirement by Friday, March 18. 
  • Make sure to upload updated vaccination information to myUOHealth.
  • Additional COVID-19 information, support and programs are available on the Coronavirus Resources website.
  • All students are encouraged to take time for self-care and mental wellness. Check out some wellness resources available on campus.
ATTENTION SENIORS!
  • Years of hard work are soon to pay off. If you plan to graduate in spring 2022, apply for your undergraduate degree now through the student menu on DuckWeb. Application deadline is April 25.

  • We're halfway through winter term! Enjoy the rest of the chilly season and unpack some midterm stress with this list of fun things to do around town.
  • It's Career Readiness Week. Make sure to activate Handshake to upload your resume, reach out to employers and view upcoming career events.
  • The UO Investment Group is recruiting! To learn more, attend the open meeting Monday, Feb. 14, 5:00 p.m. in Lillis 232. Applications to join are due Wednesday, Feb. 16.
  • Apply for a service grant through the Holden Center to fund an initiative in our community. Application deadline is Friday, Feb. 25.
UO EVENTS
  • Send some love to friends and family with a Freebie Friday gratitude card kit. Pick one up or sit down to craft at the EMU tomorrow, Feb. 11, noon–2:00 p.m.
  • Celebrate Black History Month at the Black Excellence Games event Saturday, Feb. 12, 2:30–4:30 p.m. in the Rec Center. Activities include an obstacle course, jeopardy and more!
  • Join President Schill for a public forum on tuition and fees Tuesday, Feb. 15, 6:00–7:00 p.m. in the EMU Ballroom. Students can also register to attend virtually.
  • Release post-pandemic anxieties at the CPLA Energy Boosting Station event Wednesday, Feb. 16, 4:00–7:00 p.m. in the EMU Crater Lake Rooms. Food is provided.
TALKS AND WORKSHOPS
  • Discuss racism, intergenerational trauma and collective racial healing with Dr. Fanny Brewster during the virtual Letting My Heart Be Broken talk tomorrow, Feb. 11, 5:00 p.m. on Zoom.
  • Get a stress-free overview of the loan repayment process at the virtual Know What You Owe loan workshop Wednesday, Feb. 16, 3:00–4:00 p.m.
