BETTER is coming to Florence!
HCU will host BETTER, a conference to help you be BETTER at the skill of preaching, on Monday, April 21 - Tuesday, April 22. Speakers include Dan Winkler, Keith Parker, David Shannon, Lonnie Jones and more, and  is conducted by The Jenkins Institute. As part of the English Bible Yesterday and Today series, Brad McKinnon will present a lecture entitled The King James Version of the Bible on Tuesday, April 15. The lecture will be at 6:30 p.m. in Overton Memorial Library, and is free and open to the public.

Associates Dinner with Ed Yeilding
The Heritage Associates are pleased to announce “An Evening with Lt. Col. (ret) Ed Yeilding” at 6:00 on April 17 in the HCU auditorium.  The cost is $20 per ticket for dinner and the presentation. Lt. Col. Yeilding is an accomplished Blackbird reconnaissance pilot with an amazing story. BIG thanks to the students who help with set up today: Stephen Gill, Doug May, and Travis Gupton.
India Missions Conference
HCU is delighted to welcome the India Missions Conference back to our campus! Hosted in conjunction with World Evangelism, the conference will be held April 22-24 and will address the theme, “Where We’re Been historically in India Mission Work and Where Do We Go from Here into the Future?” All sessions and meals are provided free of charge. IN THE KNOW...
The HCU softball team plays in the Men's Church League at Ollie Harris Field. Upcoming games are at 9 p.m. on Monday, April 21 and 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 24.
Alumnus Sonny Owens will be preaching a gospel meeting with the Cloverdale Church of Christ April 20-23. Sunday services are at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., and 1:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday meetings are at 7 p.m.
We'd love to see you at one of our upcoming partnership dinners, each with a 6:30 p.m. start: The Wilson Area Dinner at the Mt. Juliet, TN church building will be held May 6. The Memphis Dinner at the Germantown, TN church building will be held on September 11.
The F. Furman Kearley Conference for Biblical Scholarship, "Eschatology: Form, Function, and Faith", will be held at  Faulkner University May 29-30. Presenters include former HCU instructors Dr. Jim Smeal and Dr. David Warren, HCU alumnus Dr. Matthew Morine, and adjunct instructor Dr. Michael Strickland.
