As we get ready to transition into summer, we want to keep you informed about essential updates and key dates pertaining to Summer Session and preparations for the upcoming Fall quarter. We are excited to announce that this Summer, we will be offering the Triton Registration Installment Plan (TRIP) for all sessions. With TRIP, you can pay your student's mandatory tuition and registration fees in monthly installments rather than in one lump sum payment. See the table below or check out our TRIP webpage for key dates and more information.

TRIP does not cover housing fees and enrollment is only open to students with qualified fees. Information related to housing installments and payments can be found on the Housing Rates and Services page.

Adjustments in financial aid can cause recalculations in your TRIP installment amounts. TRIP enrollment should take place once all your financial aid for the quarter has been disbursed.

Fall Quarter Tuition and Fees
|
Be on the lookout for your student's Fall Quarter Tuition and Fees. These charges will appear to September's eBill and will be due on September 20th, 2024

eBills are generated every month. Save this link for future due dates! Check your account regularly for new charges or credit balances.

Key Information for Graduating Students
|
If your student is graduating in June, we would like to first congratulate you on all of their success. Additionally, it is important to note that charges may still be applied to their account even after graduation (library fees, departmental charges, etc). We recommend that you or your student logs into TritonPay in June and July to check for any outstanding charges.

Student Health Fee Waiver
|
Please note that waiving UC SHIP is an annual process and must be completed each new academic year to avoid being automatically enrolled into UC SHIP. The deadline to do so is September 14th, 2024 and more information can be found on Student Health Services website.

TritonPay offers electronic 529 payments for select providers that have agreed to be part of the Ascensus financial network. To check if your 529 plan provider is included, refer to the full list here. If your provider is not listed, you will need to work with your 529 plan administrator for alternative electronic options or have them mail a paper check to the UC San Diego Cashier’s Office.

This option is only available for Grad/Family rent charges and monthly TRIP installment payments. It is not available for paying tuition and registration fees that are not enrolled in the quarterly TRIP installment plan. Please make note of when auto pay is scheduled to pay out for your records.

Auto Pay is not auto-enrollment for future TRIP quarters. Students and payers will need to enroll in TRIP each quarter
