Make Consumer Voices Heard: Apply by March 1 for Scholarships to Attend #HCH2020

Registration has opened for our 2020 National Health Care for the Homeless Conference & Policy Symposium, and we are offering a number of scholarships to help consumers attend #HCH2020. If you have previously or are now experiencing homelessness and have used services at an HCH program, please consider applying for a consumer subsidy: these funds will cover your registration, lodging, meals, and some travel expenses.

This is an excellent chance for consumers to learn, network, and build leadership skills to make their voices heard! Apply by March 1, share this opportunity with a consumer you know, or contact us for more information.

We know that with upcoming national presidential and congressional elections—as well as numerous local elections—2020 will be a political year, and we want homelessness to receive attention. Help Honor Outstanding Leaders in Ending Homelessness with HCH2020 Awards (and Free Registration!)

Nominations are open for awards to be presented to outstanding consumers, respite providers, clinicians, and administrators at our 2020 Conference! Winners will receive free primary conference registration, travel reimbursement, and meal per diems to receive one of four awards in-person at HCH2020*:

Philip W. Brickner National Leadership Award: for mid-to-late career leaders in our field
Karen Rotondo Award for Outstanding Service: for exemplary clinicians
Ellen Dailey Consumer Advocate Award: for outstanding consumers
Willie J. Mackey National Medical Respite Award: for exemplary respite care providers

If you know someone who would qualify for one of these awards, please nominate them! Nominations are due March 1, 2020.

Steering Committee Nominations Open: Help Guide the Work of Our Three Membership Groups

We are now seeking nominations for individuals to join the Steering Committees of our Membership Networks. Starting their terms on July 1, Steering Committee members will provide strategic vision to the work of our HCH Clinicians' Network, National Consumer Advisory Board, and Respite Care Providers' Network.
