Never stop talking to customers. You will gain better insights yourself vs getting filtered insights from your employees.

One misstep you took in your business that you could caution others about?
Hiring non-founders to act like founders. I hired two solid employees that worked for me in the past - this time with the goal of them figuring out a start up. They just didn't have the founder / problem solving DNA.
How to you de-stress after a particularly hard day?
A hard workout or walk with my wife. Getting outside helps!
What’s something about you that would surprise everyone reading this?
I never wanted to start a company - I wanted to invent and license patents.
What part of EO are you most looking forward to?
My first Forum meeting and getting to know more EO members at future events.
