PDHP Vaccines for Teens

The Philadelphia Department of Health (PDPH), in collaboration with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the Black Doctors COVID Consortium, invites all teenage students to obtain the COVID-19 vaccine at upcoming teen-centered events.
Starting May 14th, teenage students can receive the two-dose Pfizer vaccine at teen-led vaccination events taking place at convenient locations throughout Philadelphia. Teens can register themselves and do not need to be accompanied by an adult to receive the vaccine. Click HERE for more information!

Penn Center for Social Impact Strategy
CSIS is pleased to announce a new program this summer for Philadelphia-area high school students: The Youth Summer Social Impact Institute. This high-energy, fully virtual course will equip students with the foundations of social innovation as they learn the strategies and tools needed to affect positive social impact.
Students in this program will participate in 7 weeks of fast-paced learning and application, culminating in students’ creation of a working prototype — related to a social impact interest of their choosing — and a final capstone presentation. Students who complete all learning goals and program requirements will receive a certificate of completion from the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Social Impact Strategy.
Registration is open to any students who will be enrolled in a Philadelphia area high school for fall 2021. Program registration opens on May 9, 2021. Students or their parent/guardian can sign up HERE. Students at schools partnered with the Netter Center can register for free using the code “Netter” when they sign up.
