Join us on Saturday, June 4 poolside to celebrate the kick off of summer. Free Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Veggie Burgers, Chips, and lemonade will be served between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. Tasty desserts will also be provided.

Call for Candidates
The terms of office for Executive Board members Gary Lesser and John Lund will expire July 2022.
Property owners who are interested in running for the RVRMA Executive Board (inclusive of those with expiring terms) can declare their candidacy by filling out a Candidate Statement Form here.
Your Candidate Statement should tell community members about you, your background, and what you would bring to the role as an RVRMA Board member. The deadline to declare your candidacy is Friday, June 17 at 5 p.m. Following is a schedule of key election activities:

Speeding in RVR
Whenever drivers fail to obey the speed limits set on our roadways, they pose an unnecessary safety risk for everyone in the community. RVR endeavours to keep everyone who travels through our neighborhood safe.
RVR General Manager, Ashley Lynch, recently met with the Town of Carbondale Chief of Police to discuss the issue of speeding within our community. We have passed on information gained from our speed surveillance devices. Thanks in advance for keeping this top of mind!

No Pedestrians on Golf Course!
Please remember, there is no pedestrian access on RVR Golf Course cart paths, bridges or greens. Joggers, dog walkers, and even folks cutting across the fairway have been spotted on the course. This type of activity is strictly prohibited and dangerous.

Meet the Artist Event
Saturday, June 4 | 5 p.m.- 7 p.m
Come to the Ranch House for complimentary wine, beer, and snacks while you enjoy June's local artist, Parker Yost. Parker's photography started in his love for the mountains as an avid mountain biker, backpacker, and novice ski-mountaineer.

RSVP deadline to get your address on the map is Wednesday, June 15. This is a hard deadline as maps will be created Thursday.

Rotary Meeting
Come join us at the Ranch House for a Rotary Club Social. The Rotary Club of Carbondale will be hosting an informative gathering where you can mingle with Club members, including a number of your RVR neighbors. You will learn about your role and activities here in our community, as well as around the world, and how you can become a positive force for change with us. Appetizers and soft drinks are complimentary. Wine and beer may be purchased upon consumption.

Do you ever stop to think where your food comes from? It's best to buy locally sourced food as much as possible to reduce the number of trucks on the highway delivering food from other states and countries. Plus your food will be much fresher. You've probably been to some of the local farmer's markets, but there is a lot more going on in our community to support local produce and meat. The Carbondale Chamber of Commerce developed a farm map of our area with information on local farms and ranches. Check out the amazing quality food grown right in our backyard! Knitting Club

RVR knitting and crocheting club. Open to all levels.
The group will meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 3 to 4 p.m. Next meet up will be Tuesday, June 14.

Guest Policy
As you prepare for your summer fun at the RVR pool, we would like to remind you of our guest policy:
Home Owners, Transferred Members, ADU Members and Thompson Corner Members in good standing are allowed to have guests. Members are responsible for ensuring that guests are aware of, and adhere to, the Ranch House Rules and Regulations.
- When bringing in guests, please stop at the Front Desk to check them in. The Front Desk staff will need your guests' names and age group (adult, child).
- The Ranch House Member must accompany guests. Unaccompanied guests are not permitted.
- The daily guest fees are adults $8, child $6, and can be paid by the Ranch House Member or guest. Guest fees apply for any type of Ranch House use.
- Each adult must fill out a one-time waiver. Minor children must be listed on these waivers.
- Ranch House Members are responsible for their guests at all times.
- All children 11 and under, must be supervised at all times by an adult.

Swim Lesson Information
The Ranch House offers kids private and semi-private swim lessons beginning June 6.
Lessons can be scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 9 - 11 a.m. and 6 - 8p.m.
