Keeping Toros Informed
To keep the CSUDH community up to date with the latest news and developments regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on the spring semester and campus operations, this newsletter will be providing routine updates throughout the crisis.
Toros Together Response and Safety Website
The csudh.edu/together site continues to serve as the university’s primary COVID-19 response website. Students, faculty, and staff can find information on academic and student support services, technology resources, and health and safety protocols put in place related to the university's pandemic response.
The information compiled on the /together site will be updated frequently and will continue to evolve and expand as new information or policies emerge.
Statewide Regional Stay-at-Home Order Lifted
Effective Jan. 25, the state has lifted the regional stay-at-home orders that were put in place in early December. Other state public health orders and individual county orders may still apply.
Vaccine supply issues continue to impact Los Angeles County’s vaccination efforts. However, the county is proceeding with rolling out vaccines to more groups. Currently, vaccinations are being offered to healthcare workers, long-term care facility residents, and individuals 65 years old and older. Appointments book quickly, but cancellations do occur. Book at VaccinateLACounty.com.
When the CSUDH campus community becomes eligible for vaccine distribution, more details will be provided. Information specific to the campus will be updated on csudh.edu/together/vaccine.
COVID-19 Reporting Hotline
As a reminder: If you have contracted COVID-19, whether you have been on campus or not, please report your case to the confidential hotline at (310) 243-2076.
All students and employees who need to come to campus are required to conduct a self-screening for symptoms of COVID-19. A self-screening tool is available in the iToros app.
