Somehow, as we return from Spring Break and stare down the final weeks of the academic year, it's time to begin thinking about next year. We're pleased in this month's newsletter to point you toward all sorts of great opportunities. First, if you're looking for meaningful ways to integrate your academic study with service to the community, consider one of the great Philanthropy & Public Service (PPS) courses on offer next fall. If you're looking to go deeper, to sustain those commitments as you integrate your leadership, citizenship, and scholarship, consider our two marquee leadership programs, the newly rebranded Vardaman Scholars and the Provost's Scholars program. You can find information about each of these, along with their application processes, below.
Of course, just because it's time to begin preparations for next year, don't lose sight of great things on the immediate horizon. Our long-running URSA Scholars Week is now bigger and better than ever, part of Baylor Student Research Week, which features research from undergraduates and graduate students. Also, the Program for the Future Church, which joined forces with the OEL last year, has just rebranded as the Future Communities Lab and has several exciting initiatives afoot.
As always, thanks for reading!
Cheers,
