📣Roll call! We're excited to welcome Memphis University School, White Station High School, Brighton High School, Houston High School, and Bartlett High School to the Percussion Festival featuring our very own Dr. William Shaltis, assistant professor of percussion with dynamic Arx Duo! This eent is open and free to the public. Guest clinicians work with high school ensembles in master classes and clinics, followed by an evening concert. During the day, ensembles receive feedback from guest clinicians, masterclasses are presented by guest artists, and clinics on primary percussion instruments are included. A concluding concert at 5 PM in the Scheidt Family Performing Arts Center featuring the UofM Percussion Group and the Arx Duo.

| The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as Food Stamps, helps individuals and families put food on the table.
College students may be eligible for SNAP based on one of the following:
- Participate in a work-study program - Work 80 hours per month - Care for a child under age 6 - Single parent caring for a child under 12 & enrolled full-time - Be under age 18 OR over age 49 - Have a documented physical or mental disability; - Receive a Families First (TANF) or Social Security benefits
- Attend school as part of an employment readiness program

The SMART Center also hosts a warm line for the community that provides support, psychoeducation, and linkage to community services FREE of charge. The warm line is not intended for crisis support, but to assist families with identifying resources in the community. We offer Spanish Interpretation Services.
