The GSAS Community Fellows Present Tell Me a Story

This event on Tuesday, March 1, at 5 p.m. is an opportunity for us to get together as a community and discuss the significance of the stories we grew up with. What have they taught us about our own social identities? What are differences and similarities across cultures? What do we love about them and what are aspects we would not want to pass on to the next generations? Join us for some intimate facilitated discussions on this topic with this year's three Community Fellows who are all international students brought up in different cultures.

Participants will be included into a raffle for the chance to win their choice of an inclusive children's book from a provided selection! All AS&E undergraduate and graduate students are welcome.

Multifaith Vigil for Peace in Ukraine

Please join the Tufts community on Tuesday, March 1, at 6 p.m. in Goddard Chapel for a multifaith vigil for peace in Ukraine. We will gather together in solidarity to offer prayers and light candles for all those impacted.

The Batman (2022) Pre-Release Screening

Join TUSC for a full theater buyout for a pre-release screening of The Batman (2022). Your $10 ticket will include round-trip transportation, assigned seating in a private Tufts theater at Assembly Row Somerville, and a voucher for one regular popcorn and drink. Tickets will be on sale Monday, February 28, at 10:30 a.m. at TuftsTickets.

Academic Reminders

Tuesday, March 1, is the deadline for first-year Engineering and sophomore Liberal Arts students to declare their majors. The form to declare your major can be found online.

Still undecided? Reach out to your advising team as soon as possible if you have questions about the major
declaration process! Liberal Arts sophomores can also stop by drop-in advising to speak to a Senior Academic Advisor.

The deadline for AS&E students to make up incompletes from the Fall 2021 semester is Wednesday, March 2.

Have an Item You Can't Live Without? Tell Us About It, and Have a Chance to Be Featured on Tufts' Tell Me More podcast

The next episode of the Tell Me More podcast will focus on the question "How do we decide what to keep and what to let go?" We are looking for students who can describe an item they keep and treasure but that someone else would consider trash. We're not talking about a family portrait or a trophy or something like that but something that only you find meaning in. Anyone who would like to contribute should send a few sentences describing their item to sara.norberg@tufts.edu by Monday, March 4.
