This class is for people that have zero or intermediate experience with watercolor.  In this class you will learn a wide variety of techniques, and how to apply them in creating your own works of art.

COMPUTER LITERACY WORKSHOP
Rebecca K. Scheckler, Ph.D. and Educational Technologist from Radford University will hold a workshop on the fundamentals of computer use with live demonstrations.  Participants are encouraged to bring questions about their computer and ways to utilize its full potential.  Those with a laptop, smart phone, tablet or other portable device are welcome to bring them.  Future classes will be planned depending on the attendee's interest.  Light refreshments provided.

Lisa Ress has an exciting immigration story to tell.  It even involves the "Sound of Music!"  Lisa was born in Tangier, Morocco and then immigrated to Chicago. She will speak about her childhood in Europe, WWII and family members who were victims of the Holocaust. She is now a writer and recently moved to Warm Hearth Village from Shadow Lake Village in Blacksburg.
