Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity awards Brummer Cup for Best Chapter
to Iota Chapter at the University of Denver
INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana — Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity has awarded the Iota Chapter at the University of Denver with the 2018 Brummer Cup for Best Chapter on July 14, 2018, at the 2018 International Convention in Los Angeles.

The Iota Chapter has been among the top chapters in all of Zeta Beta Tau for several years and stands out for their commitment to heritage, education, brotherhood, operational success, Ritual and the Credo. The Iota Chapter has strong alumni relations and the best publications in Zeta Beta Tau. Iota continues to be among the top recruiting chapters of its size in the Fraternity and a top chapter on the University of Denver campus.

“Iota continues to be a crown jewel for ZBT. Their commitment to our founding values, their proof of fraternity in action and their overall dedication to making the Fraternity, the University of Denver and the Jewish community stronger is a testament to their true excellence. Rarely do we see a chapter consistently perform at the top of all ZBT chapters year after year. There is no doubt that this is a result of talented undergraduates, dedicated advisors and a vision that extends far beyond each brother’s graduation date,” said Chief Executive Officer Laurence A. Bolotin, Alpha Zeta (University of Florida) 2001.

The Brummer Cup takes its name from the highest honor given to a chapter of Phi Sigma Delta Fraternity, which merged with Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity in 1969. The Brummer Cup runner-up in 2018 is the Alpha Alpha Chapter at Purdue University.

Iota Chapter also received the Alexander “Babe” Lewin Award for Excellence in Alumni Outreach & Programming at the 2018 International Convention and the Omega Cup for Outstanding Publications. Chapter Advisor Stephen P. Ehrlich, Iota (University of Denver) 1970 earned the Maxwell Hyman Chapter Advisor Award.

Gifts in honor of the Iota Chapter may be made to the Zeta Beta Tau Foundation. Learn more about the Zeta Beta Tau Foundation at zbtfoundation.org
