How do I get my NYU ID Card?
Pick up your NYU ID on either August 26 or 27 anytime from 10am-6pm at the Kimmel Center 2nd floor at 60 Washington Square S. If you are a Tandon student, pick up your NYU ID at 6 MetroTech Center.
What do my parents/family members need to do to enter NYU buildings?
- If you are moving into an on-campus residence hall: Parents and family members can enter res halls to assist you with move-in. When you arrive for check-in, they will receive a visitor guest wristband.
- If you are living off-campus: Parents and family members can pick up a guest wristband at the NYU Kimmel Center (60 Washington Square South in Manhattan) or Rogers Hall/Jacobs Academic Building (6 MetroTech Center in Brooklyn).
- The visitor guest wristband will also allow parents and family members to travel via the on-campus shuttle service between the Washington Square and Brooklyn campuses.
Do I need to register for NYU Welcome events?
For most events, you do not need to register ahead of time. There are a few events that require pre-registration. If that is the case, the link to register will be in the event description on NYU Mobile.
