Game Day

It was all fun and games on Game Day! Residents played checkers, jenga, connect four and so much more! With burgers off the grill and a little bit of community connection, everyone was a winner!

Kentucky State Fair

The heat did not keep residents away from the Kentucky State Fair! Over the course of several days, the Day Spring family visited the exhibits, rode rides, met local news anchors and had a ball!

Our residents know how to strike a pose. They had lots of fun putting on their best threads and posing for the camera. When you look good, you feel good! 

Day Spring shared a terrific evening of country music and great company with new friends at Moose Lodge 5! We are grateful for the opportunity to share the mission of Day Spring, while simultaneously learning more about the wonderful work of the Moose! The Day Spring residents and guests had a fantastic time dancing to the fabulous Amber Martin Band with our superb line dancing instructor!

The College for Living hosted a guest speaker month in August. Each week, students learned valuable information that they could apply to their lives at home. With each presenter, a hands on demonstration was provided as well. Topics included safety with Louisville EMS, health, home economics, and arts! College for Living always accepting guest speakers to join curriculum.

Day Spring staff gathered on August 29-August 30. Leadership, communicating and strong team building skills were discussed with a little fun thrown in for good measure. Our staff always learns so much from this time of important discussion and growth. 

Do you want to give back to Day Spring? Help us with a donation during Give for Good Louisville on Thursday September 14! This is a city-wide event where all non profits and agencies join to raise money for each respected cause. It is a wonderful way to give for an agency and to participate with your community!

Join us for the 12th Annual Day Spring Golf Classic! On Monday, October 16th, 2023, at Wildwood Country Club, Day Spring will gather for an exciting day of golf! Guests will enjoy a stunning course, delicious food and great company!

We had a terrific group for our August Lunch & Learn at Day Spring! Thank you to our board chairman, Becca Krall, and board member, Hailey Culp, for hosting! We made new friendships, enjoyed lunch, and shared about the mission of Day Spring. 

This is a perfect opportunity to learn more about our person center services, mingle with our residents in their homes and witness our impact first hand. Our campus is always open to new visitors who want to learn more! Join us for our next Lunch and Learn on September 20th!
