The Hispanic Chamber invites you to the 2015 Scholarship Awards Luncheon on Friday, May 1 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland.
At this event, we will honor and present awards to the 2015 scholarship award winners. We will also recognize members and community partners who generously donated to the scholarship fund. We are pleased to announce that Simon Escutia, Analyst at Nike and former HMC scholarship recipient, will give the keynote address. Simon Escutia, born to Mexican immigrants in Woodburn, Oregon, attended the University of Rochester where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics. Most recently, Mr. Escutia received his Masters in Business Administration in Marketing from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. In addition to New York and Indiana, Mr. Escutia's education has provided him opportunities to study abroad in Italy and Indonesia.
In his professional career, Mr. Escutia spent eight years in the commercial banking industry as an internal auditor and a summer in Colgate-Palmolive's brand management graduate internship program. Finally back in Oregon, Mr. Escutia is now pursuing his passion for sports and innovation while being reunited with his parents and five siblings.
