BE THE CHANGE.
Game design has morphed, creating a hybridization effect that makes the skill set applicable for cross-pollination into other professions other than video games, making game design, coupled with 3D and or programming skills, in high demand for new and expanding occupations.
The traditional training pipelines we see today in most colleges and industry isolate or cubby hole the training components of the skills necessary, instead of creating an environment where the infrastructure crosses the lines to prepare new hires for this interconnected environment. In
Laguna College of Art + Design’s (LCAD) MFA program in Game Design, we work to intersect, design, real-time 3D, and leadership skills to equip graduates with the ability to land those jobs in high demand and to then be prepared to move in to managerial positions.
The labor market is looking for students with game engine knowledge, to then apply that knowledge to the ever broadening list of occupations and diversified career opportunities, garnering higher wages, and better work environments.
Improve your career mobility. The way that the world and technology are interacting is quickly changing. Take a minute and look at the curriculum offered in
LCAD’s Game Design MFA.
We encourage our graduates to be the change, craft how the world utilizes engine technology and be a positive force for the future of others.
