OUR OPEN HOUSE
FRIDAY JUNE 12TH
SATURDAY JUNE 13TH
BRING YOUR WALLET!!
| |
We are hosting a fun Open House on June 12th and 13th, and you're invited.
It's an opportunity to tour five exceptional motoryachts in a variety of sizes and price ranges, all conveniently located at our docks near the Galleria Mall on Sunrise Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale.
Most importantly, you'll have a chance to spend time with the Hargrave team that has made such a difference in the lives of our owners:
Mike DiCondina, Pete Colagiovanni, Ralph Wike, and even Yannis Zagorakis, who will be flying back from meetings with clients in Greece earlier that week!
We have always believed that owner support is every bit as important as the yacht itself. Experienced yacht owners understand that. Nobody provides the level of owner support that we do. Just ask any Hargrave owner.
If your wife joins you, she can even spend some time at the Galleria Mall while you go from yacht to yacht gathering ideas for your next boating adventure. That's why I said, "Bring your wallet" - so you can hand it to her before you drop her off! Why not fly down and spend a day or two exploring five of the finest yachts currently available on the market?
Every yacht featured in our Open House is part of our "Best Deals" selection and represents an exceptional opportunity in today's market.
Join us at 808 S.E. 20th Avenue, just off Sunrise Boulevard.
Call or email us, and we'll send directions, parking information, and any additional details you'd like to review before your visit.
Open House hours are 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on both days.
If those times don't fit your schedule, we're happy to meet before or after the event hours to accommodate your travel plans. We look forward to seeing you in Fort Lauderdale.

ONLY BAD BOATS
GET AUCTIONED, RIGHT?
WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!

120’ 1997 TRIDENT – ESCAPE OF LONDON
AUCTION DATE: JUNE 24, 2026
In the world of large yachts, only the good ones tend to attract serious auction buyers. Most buyers aren't looking for a project - they're looking for value.
A perfect example is the 120' Trident ESCAPE OF LONDON, one of the last yachts designed by Jack Hargrave.
I toured this yacht at the Palm Beach International Boat Show with listing broker Lon McCloskey and came away impressed with her condition, layout, and mission profile. This is not a yacht designed to sit at the dock as a floating condominium. She was built to travel the world in comfort and safety.
The current owner recently completed extensive upgrades and improvements, and the yacht is listed on the market for $2,990,000.
Now she is headed to auction with a reserve price of just $1.2 million.
(I know what you're probably thinking: "For that kind of money, I could buy a new center console!!!")
One of the most common questions yacht owners ask is: What is my boat really worth?
An auction provides the answer.
Unfortunately, many owners spend years fighting reality. They leave the broker they've known and trusted for decades and sign with a larger brokerage firm that tells them exactly what they want to hear.
Then weeks turn into months. Months turn into years. The carrying costs continue to pile up, and every few months, the "hot new broker" comes back with the same advice:
"Lower your price."
Meanwhile, the yacht gets another year older, and the market moves on.
Before switching to the latest big-name brokerage, ask yourself one simple question: How many times has that firm actually shown your yacht in the last 12 months?
In most cases, the answer is zero.
After all, if they already had any buyers for your yacht, wouldn't they have sold it by now?
When you look at the numbers honestly, a company like Boathouse Auctions that we work with can be an effective solution. They create urgency, expose the yacht directly to qualified buyers, and work alongside the brokerage community to determine true market value.
Whether the final bid surprises you or confirms your expectations, one thing is certain: The market never lies.

WHAT IS THE BEST DEAL ANYWAY?
Usually, people think this is just a low price but it's a combination of three things - the price, the condition, and an educated seller.
To be on our Best Deals Page the boat has to meet all three requirements.
