John Hunt Park Recreation Center
D4 received exciting news with City Council approval of a new recreation center in John Hunt Park just north of Joe Davis Stadium. Among the highlights are plans for 25 pickleball courts that will be covered by an engineered metal structure to ensure fewer rainouts. The center will also include four basketball courts and eight volleyball courts among other amenities. Construction is expected to start in the fall.
