It's a big week! We've just posted the New Student Checklist 2018 and have opened the Advising Survey and Housing Survey. We've also opened registration for Pre-Orientation!

Start the New Student Checklist 2018

You have a few responsibilities over the summer, and many of them can be completed online. Our New Student Checklist 2018 will help you stay on track.

Start the New Student Checklist 2018

Step 1) Establish Your Tufts Email Account

Your first step is to establish your Tufts email account and student ID number, if you haven't already. We will send all official University communications to your @tufts.edu address starting June 1, so it's important to get your email set up and check it on a regular basis!

Step 2) Take the Advising Survey (First-Year BA/BS Students)

We've opened the Advising Survey on the New Student Checklist 2018. If you're a First-Year BA/BS student (Liberal Art or Engineering), you need to:

Watch the Academic Essentials video that corresponds with your degree program
Complete the Advising Survey in the Application Status page.

Make sure you complete this survey by June 8.

Note: BFA, Combined Degree, and Transfer students do not need to complete the Advising Survey.

Step 3) Take the Housing Survey (All First-Year Students)

We've also opened the Housing Survey on the New Student Checklist 2018. Be sure to complete the survey by June 13 to help us pair you with a roommate and find your living space on campus.

Pre-Orientation

Pre-Orientation programs are an opportunity to get involved on campus early, meet upper-class leaders and mentors, gain valuable leadership skills, and meet other students with similar interests before Orientation officially begins. Register by June 6!
