| The Game is Life: Spiritual Lessons from the Religion of Sports |
Join on Tuesday, November 18, at 5 p.m. in Goddard Chapel for the Russell Lecture and Solomont Speaker Series with Dr. Varun Soni, A96. Dr. Soni is the Dean of Religious Life at the University of Southern California, and his recent work celebrates the overlap between religion and sports as communal rituals. A reception will follow in Eaton Hall at 6:30 p.m.

Breaking The Silence: Mental Health in the FIRST Community |
Join the FIRST Center and the Mental Health Reps on Wednesday, November 19, at 12 noon–1 p.m. in the Tisch Library DSDI Hub for an open conversation on mental health in the FIRST community. With a panel of students and clinicians, we will reflect on the unique challenges faced by FGLIU students and discuss self-care strategies that can be used both during the school year and on holiday breaks. Food will be provided!

Film and Media Studies (FMS) continues to celebrate our tenth year with an industry lunch talk with alumna Georgia Ranes on Friday, November 21, at 12 noon–2 p.m. in Barnum Hall Room 204. FMS Professor of the Practice Don Schechter will moderate. Lunch will be provided. Registration is required.
