Paying for groceries can be challenging, but CalFresh can help. CalFresh is a grant from the federal government that helps individuals and families pay for groceries to help increase access to delicious and nutritious foods. Individuals who qualify for CalFresh can earn up to $291 per month.

Crisis Assistance & Resource Education Support |
The Crisis Assistance & Resource Education Support (CARES) team at Student Health, Counseling, and Wellness Services offers support for students who are experiencing unique challenges to their education. This includes food, housing, financial, and behavioral support. CARES is located on the 1st floor of The WELL, Room 1000. Contact the CARES office at 916-278-5138 or cares@csus.edu, or book an appointment with a CARES case manager through your Patient Portal.
