A Resounding Success for Schulich’s First-Ever Giving Day!
| |
On November 24th, Schulich launched its first-ever Giving Day, a 24-hour virtual engagement and philanthropic campaign inviting the Schulich alumni, students, staff, faculty and friends to come together for a common goal to support our students.
Thanks to the support of our amazing Schulich community, we surpassed our $25,000 target and were in fact able to raise a total of $65,411 including a dollar-by-dollar match thanks to a generous donation from the Katherine Meaney Svec Estate.
“Giving Day is an innovative fundraising concept that is simple yet inspiring,” said Dean Detlev Zwick. “The strength of the Schulich community has always been a shared sense of responsibility for the success of the next generation of our alumni and this is evident by the incredible results of Giving Day.” Read more

Go at Your Own Pace with SEEC's e+ Online Programs
One of the reasons SEEC has been able to take the lead in the conversion of in-class programs to virtual classroom delivery in response to the challenges imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic is the experience and knowledge gained before the health emergency with the development of our self-paced e+ online programs.
Rather than taking place face-to-face in the virtual classroom, our e+ online programs consist of five or six learning modules released weekly. The modules consist of pre-recorded instructional videos, interactive quizzes with customized feedback to assess your learning progress, case studies and mini-projects to enrich your learning, all accessed through a convenient centralized learning management portal.
