UNF Installs Atmospheric Water
Generator on Campus |
The University of North Florida recently unveiled the installation of the WellSpring100, an Atmospheric Water Generator, which will enable the University to conduct resiliency research to help protect critical infrastructure from threats and disasters.
Developed in partnership with Captiva Verde Corporation, a Florida-based sustainable technology company, and Origen, a Wisconsin manufacturer, the WellSpring100 uses cutting‑edge atmospheric water generation technology to extract moisture from the air and produce clean, potable water.

Skipper serves as Vice President of Merchandising, Marketing, and External Affairs at GATE Petroleum, where she leads key initiatives across marketing, government relations, the company’s foundation, and merchandising.
Recognized for her leadership and impact on the Northeast Florida business community, Skipper joins a distinguished group of honorees shaping the region’s future.
