Season's Greetings!
November and early December have been a busy time for our club. We finished fall season competition with Girls 2012, Girls 2013 and Boys 2014 Black taking first place in their divisions. Girls 2015, Boys 2015 White and Boys 2010 also had great seasons ending in 2nd place for their respective brackets and will be moving up divisions.
Boys 2007/08 NPL team had exceptional results and will be playing in the NPL Team Tournament Final in March 2026. It's a great achievement being in the Finals as 1 of 2 teams for all the leagues combined!
In early December tournament play, a combined NPL 2011/12 Surf girls team won their division in the West Coast Winter Classic dominating the competition without conceding a single goal. Keep up to date on San Clemente Surf Club news (and for back issues of the monthly newsletter) on our

For all club teams, we will be on holiday break beginning Wednesday December 17 and returning the week of January 5.
In the New Year, all non-high school-aged San Clemente Surf Club teams have upcoming games in CPL Capo Tournament (January), Surf Champions League (February), and/or State Cup (January-March). We look forward to these exciting competitions to represent our club.
As part US Soccer and SoCal League, San Clemente Surf Club is embracing the new age group changes beginning for the 2026/27 season. Tryout season is underway for
ZONE 1 players with birthdays between August 1, 2017 and July 31, 2021. The first rounds of tryouts were held in early December with new teams forming for our youngest club players.
All current San Clemente Surf Club players are encouraged to register now in AthleteOne for the upcoming 2026/27 season.
New age group ranges, players’ tryout schedule, and FAQs are posted on our website. Once registered, players will receive confirmation of their age group and tryout date.

Lil' Surfers Recreation continues Tuesday clinics in the new year and kick off their second season with a 6-Week Spring League beginning in March. Each week 4-5-6 year-olds will learn a new
FUNdamental topic in a fun and rewarding environment with clinics and Saturday morning games.
