What's the Celebration Video all About? You!
In CALS, we've recognized students individually on a slide shown during our in-person graduation ceremonies. Now, with the virtual graduation convocation, we're able to incorporate user-submitted videos as well!
All graduating students are encouraged to submit a video - it will become part of the overall CALS livestreamed graduation convocation and will be available online for all to see!!
3 Steps for Recording Your Celebration Video
Use your phone, holding it up vertically, and follow these three steps -
- Look straight into the camera and make sure to show your entire face for at least ten seconds.
--Be happy, celebrate, laugh, smile, dance, throw your hands up in the air, hug your pet, wear a graduation cap/gown/UA shirt.
--We encourage you to be creative and have fun as this clip will be used when your name is shown in the commencement video. Graduate students may want to consider having a family member hood them! When finished do not stop recording - move on to step 2
- Look straight into the camera and say/complete the following sentence "My one word of wisdom is ________" When finished do not stop recording - move on to step 3
- Look straight into the camera and Bear Down!
