Day Spring residents attended Mrs. Krishnan's Party at Actors Theatre of Louisville. It was so much fun watching this interactive and engaging story. And they loved the decorations too!

Holiday Shopping

Residents found some fabulous bargains at Oxmoor Center. Finding some thoughtful gifts was the perfect outing for getting in the holiday spirit! They shopped 'till they dropped!

Nutcracker

Day Spring ventured into the land of sweets at The Brown-Forman Nutcracker! It was a very special night full of magic, joy and sugar plumb fairies. It was an absolute treat!

December has been a very busy month, full of celebrations for our Family Home Providers, Direct Support staff, Administrative staff, and of course, the residents! We are so fortunate to have donated gifts from St. Vincent DePaul and St. Raphael Catholic Church as well as kitchenware from our generous donors. It means so much to gather and celebrate this wonderful holiday season.

Day Spring experienced so much holiday joy hosted by the staff at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. Not only did our friends provide a pizza party but also thoughtful gifts of hats and gloves, hot cocoa and puzzles. We are so thankful to have such kind friends in the Day Spring community.

A big thank you to the volunteers from VACO who visited Day Spring. They spent an afternoon in our administrative office, working hard and wrapped so many gifts for direct support, house managers and College for Living mentors. We could not ask for better helpers during this holly jolly season!

In this season of gratitude, I am filled with joy to see pieces of our Day Spring puzzle coming together.
We continue to grow our community and are working toward expanding our impact on those we currently serve and those we will serve in the future. Through culture enhancement, our workforce at Day Spring is stronger than ever with staff who embrace our mission daily and who provide unconditional love to our residents. We will continue to focus heavily on program development in the new year and will create more life-enhancing opportunities for adults with disabilities living at Day Spring.
