Season’s Greetings!

We hope you are enjoying the winter holiday season—and the cooler weather! As we near the end of 2024, we at UT Arlington are looking ahead to the new year and the many important milestones that lie ahead for UTA West.

In the months since the official announcement of plans to develop the new satellite campus, President Jennifer Cowley and other UTA administrators have been busy meeting with city and state officials, industry leaders, community members, regional higher education and ISD partners, UTA alumni, and neighborhood associations to share information on UTA West and to solicit their feedback.

In 2025, we expect to make several important announcements about UTA West as development kicks into high gear and plans begin to finalize. In the new year, you can look forward to information about the following: 

• Adding to our Fort Worth Center, we’ll be opening a new UTA West store front in Parker County where the community will be able to learn more about the campus and gather for information sessions.
• Our ongoing search for a dynamic leader who will lead the new UTA West campus.
• The date for the official groundbreaking ceremony.
• All of the latest construction updates.
• And much more!

It’s a great time to be a Maverick. We are excited to see what the new year will hold for UTA West, and we look forward to meeting you and sharing all the exciting potential that UTA West has for the future!
