On August 21st, we're hosting an interactive workshop to explore the SBIR and STTR programs. These programs offer crucial funding during the early stages of development, bridging the gap between initial ideas and the point where there's sufficient proof of concept to attract private investment. This funding can be used to conduct further research, develop prototypes, and test your technology in the marketplace.
By leveraging this funding, you can accelerate the development of your technology and increase your chances of success.

Taming the Cyber Elephant |

Last week, Baylor's Cybersecurity Initiative hosted a free cybersecurity workshop at the Central Texas Cyber Range. During the event, participants gained a clearer understanding of privacy and cyber laws, learned how specific legal regulations impact digital security practices, developed practical skills using cybersecurity tools to enhance cyber resilience, and received step-by-step guidance for responding to and recovering from cyberattacks. A special thank you to our incredible speakers: Robert Felps from Cyber Compass, Guy Sereff from Michael Best, and Senior Special Agent Jessie Prewitt of the U.S. Secret Service. We also want to thank everyone who attended and made the event a great success!
