The 601: Become a Partner in Learning

The 601 Strategy Field Study capstone project was created more than 40 years ago and marks a shared experience for all MBA students and graduates. This is your opportunity to become a partner in learning and participate in the 601 as a client!
The next 601 cohort kicks off in September. We invite you to participate and make an impact on the students’ academic experience. Supported by three Schulich faculty members, a team of six MBA students will conduct a comprehensive strategy assessment of your company – both for-profit and non-profit qualify – and present actionable recommendations and a detailed implementation plan. Opening a World of Opportunities: Announcing the Inaugural Recipient of the Jack Leitch Award in Entrepreneurial Thinking

On May 26, the Schulich Startups Community proudly announced Joyce Khanuja (MBA ’23) as the inaugural recipient of the Jack Leitch Award in Entrepreneurial Thinking. The $10,000 award, established to celebrate the life and legacy of Jack Leitch, a visionary business legend, will empower incoming MBA students who demonstrate experience in innovation, product design, leadership, and entrepreneurship.
“I am both humbled and thankful for being the initial recipient of the Jack Leitch Award. This Award helps me pursue a world-class MBA program, opening up a world of opportunities for me. I hope to contribute to and learn greatly from this association and strive to always keep the entrepreneurial spirit alive,” says Joyce.

The Schulich School of Business welcomed the new summer cohort of Master of Accounting (MAcc), Master of Business Analytics (MBAN), and Master of Supply Chain Management (MSCM) students last month. To help students make the most of their time at Schulich, Dean Zwick moderated an alumni panel featuring Aparna Chugh (MBAN ’19), Senior Data Scientist, RBC; Dishan Ratnajothi (BBA ’17, MACC ’18), Associate Director, Klick Health; and David Wang (MSCM ’20), Manager, Transportation and Optimization, Labatt Breweries of Canada. Each panelist highlighted the importance of the Schulich network, encouraging students to make connections early, give back, get involved and build lasting relationships.

MBA Class of '92 Celebrates 30th Anniversary Reunion

The MBA class of 1992 celebrated their milestone reunion last month with a celebration in downtown Toronto. Led by reunion ambassadors Sheryl Macdonald (MBA '92) and Barry Rivelis (MBA '92), alumni from around the world came together to reminisce and reconnect at C'Est What. Classmates, Graduate Business Council members, and FastTrack newspaper editors shared memories, photos, and stories and marvelled at the ways they have all changed or stayed the same.
