Introducing Our Revamped Mission Statement
|
We're excited to share that Partners in Diversity has a newly refined mission statement to further solidify and reaffirm our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in Oregon and southwest Washington.
Why the Change?
We recognize the pivotal role professionals of color and diversity influencers play in shaping thriving communities and robust economies. Our evolved mission reflects our firm dedication to building a workforce that mirrors the diverse tapestry of our region. We believe supporting professionals of color and creating a more inclusive organizational culture will benefit all employees. By aligning our efforts with this new mission, we aim to fuel economic growth, drive innovation, and build stronger, more connected communities by empowering our professionals of color. Our key objectives include attracting top-tier talent by creating inclusive workplaces that celebrate diversity, nurturing environments where professionals of color thrive and contribute to organizational success, and investing in the growth and advancement of a diverse workforce to cultivate future leaders.

Help Us Welcome Our New Executive Assistant

We're excited to introduce Amy Vaught to the team as our new executive assistant. Prior to joining Partners in Diversity, Amy served Oregon legislators and constituents in policy and advocacy work. She studied history, drama, and English at Warner Pacific College, and is currently pursuing her master’s in business administration with a focus on public policy. Beyond her professional life, Amy is an avid theatre lover and can usually be found analyzing Shakespeare for contemporary audiences. She also loves traveling with her partner and spending infinite time with her rescue dogs.

This research study aims to understand the effectiveness of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives in Oregon and SW Washington. By participating in this study, you'll not only gain
free valuable insights into the effectiveness of your DEI policies, but also contribute to a broader understanding of best practices in the region.

Oregon State University in Corvallis on February 27 for the largest multicultural networking event in Oregon and southwest Washington. Say Hey! is a casual networking event designed to connect local businesses and allies with current and recently relocated professionals of color. Enjoy an evening of community-building, exploring job and civic opportunities within your community, and expanding your professional network. This is a free event and often sells out, so reserve your spot and register today! All attendees must be over the age of 21 to participate.
