Attention Community Center Patrons
On July 21st, the City Manager presented his final recommendations at the Governing Body meeting whether to proceed with the reopening plan on August 1st or not depending on the data trends of COVID-19.
We are excited to announce the Community Center will reopen on August 1st. We're all very eager to get back to serving the public like we love to do, but we also want to ensure all necessary precautions to stay safe while keeping our community safe are taken.
We will be prioritizing patron and staff safety at the Community Center by implementing:
- Mask mandate (A mask must be worn at all times inside the Community Center, unless physically exercising, swimming, or under 10 years of age.)
- Social distancing
- Sanitation stations (i.e. hand sanitizer stands)
- Physical barriers (i.e. sneeze guards)
- Intensified cleaning and disinfecting of all public spaces
- Robust signage and stickers in place throughout facility to educate and advise patrons of distancing and other safety protocols.
Please note, we understand not everyone is ready to come back just yet. We will be offering a few different options regarding your Community Center membership once we reopen. We will allow members to:
- Resume their membership
- Remain frozen and pay drop in on per use basis
- Remain frozen through the end of 2020

We are very sad to report that Signal Bay Water Park will not open this season due to the water park limitations in the Phase III Reopening guidelines of the Commonwealth. Under these guidelines, only our lazy river would be eligible to open. It is hard to put into words just how disappointed we are with not opening this summer. A lot of time and effort goes into preparing the water park to open and this year was no different. All season passes will be refunded. We do anticipate reopening the water park next summer in 2021.
