Habitat honors a life of service |

|
Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter passed away December 29, 2024, in his home in Plains, Georgia. He and his wife, former First Lady Rosalynn Carter, were committed advocates of affordable housing and other humanitarian causes. They volunteered with Habitat for Humanity for more than 36 years, beginning after Carter’s presidency and continuing until well into their 90s.
As a tribute, our affiliate has installed a display, Doors of Opportunity, and we welcome the public to stop by Park City ReStore to sign their name, share memories and add notes of gratitude in honor of the Carters.

Tree Show brings holiday magic |
|
|
Our Habitat celebrated the third annual Celebrating Home – Holiday Tree Show with the addition of gingerbread houses, more decorated trees and a silent auction. The result? A whopping success!
Thirty-three trees and six gingerbread houses were donated to the yearly fundraiser by professional decorators, businesses, community groups and holiday enthusiasts.
More than $41,000 was raised, with proceeds going to help fund our next building project in Silver Creek Village. Construction is slated to begin this year.
