The Mission of the Central To The Arts Festival, including the CCFA Expose’ Performance, is to bring awareness to University arts programming and its venues. We will host this festival to highlight student and community work; to create a platform for public and interdepartmental engagement; and to familiarize our communities with our campus, CCFA degree offerings and our potential as a community arts partner.

This event will be like the pick one, drop one game on TikTok but with a twist. Two teams will go head to head and debate on certain topics and the host will choose which team had the better debate and that topic will proceed on in the game.

The Radio Hour: A Choral Opera in One Act Presented by Chamber Choir Hosted by Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music
You don't want to miss The Radio Hour: A Choral Opera in One Act presented by the University of Memphis Chamber Choir on Thursday, March 30 at 7:30 PM! Various styles of music are employed in this choral opera by renowned composer Jack Heggie and librettist Gene Scheer, all live from Harris Concert Hall! This choral opera tells the story of Nora, a middle-age woman who is having a bad day and seeks solace by locking herself inside her apartment and turning on the radio. Various styles of music are employed in this choral opera to not only convey the different styles of music on the radio, but also the inner voice and stream of consciousness of the lead, silent character, Nora.

| Student Trustee Application
The Student Government Association is accepting applications for the Student Trustee position on the University of Memphis Board of Trustees. This opportunity is available to undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and law students. The student is a non-voting member of the board. The student trustee is required to attend all board meetings, including corresponding committee meetings. The Student Trustee selection committee will review all applications, interview qualified candidates, and recommend three finalists for the President, who will make the final selection to the Board of Trustees. Eligible students can apply on Tiger Zone. The completed application must include two letters of recommendation, a resume, and a statement of interest not to exceed 1000 words and closes on April 10, 2023, at 11:59 pm. The SMART Center also hosts a warm line for the community that provides support, psychoeducation, and linkage to community services FREE of charge. The warm line is not intended for crisis support, but to assist families with identifying resources in the community. We offer Spanish Interpretation Services.
