Dear Parents and Families,
I hope you enjoyed your visit last month for Parents and Family Weekend! I had the pleasure of meeting some of you and sharing in your pride at our students’ accomplishments. As Tufts newest dean on campus, I take particular pleasure in sharing my “freshman” year with this year’s incoming Class of 2019.
Our first-year class of 1,360 students, 211 of whom are engineers, is once again one for the record books. Whittled down from 19,062 applicants, only 16 percent were offered admission, setting a fifth consecutive record for selectivity, overall. In engineering, we were even more selective at 15%!

Get to know the

Academic Resource Center

The Academic Resource Center (ARC) offers one-on-one tutoring, group sessions and workshops in writing, public speaking, time management, study strategies and introductory-level courses in math, sciences, economics, computer science and foreign languages. Our programs help students to become more effective, independent, and collaborative learners. We build on the strengths students bring to our sessions while addressing their needs and challenges.  In 2014-2015, 2416 undergraduate and graduate students met with ARC tutors across all of our tutoring programs!

Financial Services Updates

Bills for the spring semester will be issued the second week of November.  If you have not done so already, we encourage you to
ask your student to invite you to become an authorized viewer/payer in our eBill system.  For additional information regarding eBill and payment options, please go visit our billing page.
