Political Risk Consulting with Eurasia Group |
If you’re passionate about politics, enjoy learning about diplomacy, and have strong research skills, you may be interested in political risk sector careers. Eurasia Group is a leading global political risk research and consulting firm. On Wednesday, March 27, at 12 noon–1 p.m. in Miner Hall Room 225, Tufts alumnus Jon Lieber, Eurasia Group's head of research and US managing director, will join us. Lunch will be served at this event co-sponsored by the Tufts political science department, International Relations Program, and Tufts Career Center.

| Ecologies of a Small New England Town: Paper, People, and the Politics of Pollution |
Environmental Studies is honored to host literary critic and author Kerri Arsenault from Brown University on Thursday, March 28, at 12 noon as part of the Hoch Cunningham Environmental Lecture Series. Her talk will highlight stories of how power and politics impact people's choices, especially in the paper industry. This talk will be livestreamed and recorded. This talk is co-sponsored by the Departments of Sociology, English, and Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning.

Global Tufts Month Panel – Working in Complex Humanitarian Environments |
On Thursday, March 28, at 3–5 p.m. in the Dowling Hall Milmore Room Dowling Hall, celebrate Global Tufts Month by attending a panel discussion on what's it like to conduct research in complex humanitarian environments. Tufts faculty and student researchers will share stories from the field and practical advice for anyone doing or considering similar work. Light refreshments will be served.

Join us on Thursday, March 28, at 6:30 p.m. in Barnum Hall LL08 for "That Feels Culturally Specific: Building Representational Experiences for Black and Brown Viewers." Through a journey into media soundscapes and visuals, film and television scholar Kristen Warner will map and explore the work that goes into building representational experiences for black and brown viewers. This event is presented as part of the Film and Media Studies (FMS) Independent Voices Series.

Do you want more certainty about the state of your personal finances? On Friday, March 29, at 1–2 p.m. in Aidekman Arts Center, Chris Di Fronzo, director of Career Services and certified financial advisor, will bring levity to a stressful topic. In this interactive session, he will teach you about principles of money management, including how to think about budgeting and saving and how to transition to financial independence as you evaluate and make decisions regarding employer benefits and more. Pizza will be provided!

| Kindling the Hearth: Keeping the Spark Alive Exhibition Reception |
Join the First Resource Center for an exhibition reception of Kindling the Hearth: Keeping the Spark Alive, celebrating first-gen artists, on Friday, March 29, at 6 p.m. in the SMFA Atrium. Everyone is welcome. No tickets are required, but we encourage you to RSVP. The event will showcase the beautiful artworks created by first-gen artists and feature keynote speaker Erika Hirugami, MA, MAAB, founder and CEO of CuratorLove and co-founder of UNDOC+ Collective.

The Office of Sustainability is looking for students interested in sustainability and social justice to join their programming next academic year. Choose between two programs where students build community and solve campus sustainability problems. Applications are due March 25 at 11:59 p.m.

Reminder: The deadline to apply for internal transfer from SOE to A&S is April 1. Priority is given to applications submitted by this deadline. Applications submitted April 2–19 will not be reviewed until after the registration period in April.

Updated EV Charging Policy |
Please note Tufts' updated electric vehicle charging policy: EV charging spaces are for use only while charging and should be moved within one hour after charging is complete. If you notice a vehicle parked in an EV charging space that does not meet this criterion, please reach out to parking@tufts.edu with that vehicle's information.
