"I am looking forward to my opportunity to speak at the National League of Cities about All of Us Research to the LGBT Local Officials group at City Summit in Los Angeles.  After my speech at Fifty Forward's Madison Station for the National Launch was posted on the PrideNet Blog, interest has increased in building engagement in all communities.  I was selected to join a group of ten people from around the country to represent as an LGBT Ambassador to the All of Us Research Program and the benefits of Precision Medicine.
I have been working on engaging other out elected officials in local government to learn more about and consider active participation in the program."
NVR will also be participating on the appointed Nominating Committee for 2019 leadership on Nov 8 and 9 in Los Angeles.

Oakwood Park Improvement Ribbon Cutting Saturday, November 17, 2018

A new Friends of Oakwood Park Group has started!  If you are interested, please email Scott and Jessica Revy for information!  they are presenting a block party for November's big day and could use your help.
Help us celebrate! Please join Mayor David Briley, Councilmember Nancy VanReece and Parks Director Monique Odom for a Block Party and Ribbon Cutting to celebrate the newly renovated Oakwood Park. The event is scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, November 17 at Oakwood Park located at Oakwood and Bethwood Drive. Bring your neighbor and enjoy music and food trucks!
