MCAT CALENDAR & INFO

2021 MCAT Testing Calendar is now available!
Registration for January and March exam dates opens on Tuesday, November 10 at noon ET. Please be sure to visit the registration and scheduling page on our website for more details about the 2021 testing year. You can also sign up to receive updates about MCAT® registration and testing for 2021.

Test Day Details
Beginning in January, the MCAT exam will once again return to its traditional length. Each exam day will offer two full-length exam sessions: one at 7:30 a.m. and the other at 3:00 p.m. This schedule helps limit the number of people in a test center and allows for the necessary social distancing. We encourage you to learn more about the AAMC's health and safety protocols on our website.

Racial disparities in mental healthcare are rampant. In the US, it is well documented that minorities receive less access to mental health services and lower-quality treatment than their white counterparts. During this event, panelists will take a deep dive into what defines “racial disparities” in mental healthcare and ways in which treatment and intervention can be improved by prioritizing culturally-diverse training in higher education.
VOLUNTEEER OPPORTUNITY
The global pandemic changed how we interact with one another and how we approach volunteer opportunities. Many organizations have pivoted away from in-person volunteering, but that does not make the virtual opportunities any less valuable to your development as a prehealth student!
Take a look at our list of over 100+ volunteer opportunities in the area. We will be updating this list throughout the semester, so be sure to check back often!
Here is one organization that has openings and can help you develop several competencies!
Circle of Hope's mission is to provide homeless children, women, and men in Boston and Metro West with clothing, toiletries and other necessities to preserve and enhance overall health and personal digninty.
There are several ways to help them in thier mission during the COVID-19 Pandemic! You can help fulfill urgent requests for supplies, make "COVID Kits" to be distributed to those in need, or organize a drive to collect critical supplies needed to prevent COVID-19 from spreading in crowded homeless shelters and clinics.

Check out their website to learn more about way to get involved and volunteer!
