Preparing for in-person work norms
You are receiving this message because you have an existing Working @Tech Arrangement on file.
As previously communicated, existing Working @Tech Arrangements were frozen on April 30. Therefore, your existing telework arrangement can no longer be modified or changed, but can remain in effect through July 31, with your supervisor’s agreement.
These key points may help you prepare for the transition to an on-campus operating model effective August 1.

- The new ServiceNow telework request system and current Georgia Tech Human Resources (GTHR) telework guidance applies to full-time, benefits-eligible staff.
-
We suggest waiting to submit a telework arrangement request until you’ve discussed this matter with your supervisor and unit leadership team – early submission does not directly affect the response time.
- No action is needed for staff following their unit’s standard in-person work schedule (meaning their college, school, or unit/department’s regular, in-person, 40-hour per week schedule).
-
Staff requesting a hybrid or fully remote telework schedule must submit their request in the ServiceNow system through the ASC portal (or the JIRA system for GTRI).

This initial communication is not intended to provide 100% of the information you will need – it's intended to be a solid foundation to build upon. Telework guidance, approval criteria, policy updates and FAQs will be published on the Working @Tech Arrangements website and be updated throughout the summer.
