|
-
Visit Support Services: Explore the Library, Writing Center, ARC, Math Learning Lab, and tech help desks.
- Check Out Study Groups: Collaborate with peers for shared learning experiences. The library has a great space for study groups!
- Ask for Help: Don't wait until you're overwhelmed—reach out early and often. Our campus is full of resources to help you thrive.
|
Pro Tip: Keep a list of important campus resources and their contact information. This way, you'll know exactly where to turn when you need help, saving time and reducing stress.

"People who say it cannot be done, should not interrupt those who are doing it" - George Bernard Shaw
Of the many quotes that have guided my life, this one has been a mainstay. So often in life, we're presented with seemingly impossible situations, yet we persist. There will always be naysayers in life. There will always be those whose imaginations are limited or whose minds are too closed off to see what is possible. There will always be those who want you to keep the status quo. It is our responsibility to remain true to who we are and what we are called to do. Cheers to you and let nothing interfere with your greatness.
|
The legendary cellist, Pablo Casals was once asked why he still practiced at age 90. He replied, "Because I think I'm making progress."
For our world to progress, we always have to be in pursuit of our passion. Those passions push us to break through ceilings and make discoveries that elevate our society. It all starts with you committing to you every day. Stay in pursuit of your passions. Develop and retool yourself to discover what has never been before. Commit to the journey and enjoy the fruit it bears. Mastery isn't something that has a definitive end. Don't forget that only 11 people have ever seen the finish line of Pac-Man.

"My experience in the RISE program has changed the way I approach higher education. The RISE program has destigmatized tutoring and provided easy access to advisors, which greatly increased my willingness to ask for help and utilize the resources available to me."

National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) Survey
|
Seniors and First-year Students!
|
Tell us about your Pirate experience in the upcoming NSSE Survey
Seton Hall wants students to have the best educational experience possible. The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) helps us improve by collecting vital information from seniors and first-year students about their undergraduate experience. A better understanding of how students are spending time in and out of the classroom will guide future decisions that benefit you and your fellow Pirates.
|
Be on the Look Out - the NSSE survey will open on February 20
Seniors and First-year students, check your Seton Hall email on February 20th for the survey invitation containing your personalized link from NSSE. In appreciation for participating, students who complete the survey will be automatically entered in a random drawing to win 1 of 4 rewards of $50 Pirate's Gold. Your chances of winning depend on how many complete the survey; 2813 students were invited to participate.

If you have any questions about this project, please contact studentservices@shu.edu. Your feedback is valuable! Please consider participating.
