Hear Loyce Pace at the Satcher Public Health Lecture Feb. 28 |
Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and the Vanderbilt MPH program present the 2024 David Satcher Lecture, "Global Health Diplomacy: Where Equity is No Longer Optional," from Loyce Pace, MPH, Assistant Secretary for Global Affairs in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Pace will deliver the lecture Wednesday, Feb. 28, at noon in Light Hall 202.

Roumie honored at Translational Research Forum |
Program Director Christianne Roumie, MD MPH, was honored with the Excellence in Mentoring to Independence award at the 2024 Vanderbilt Translational Research Forum on Feb. 2. The award is given to exceptional mentors who have had five or more faculty mentees receive career awards.

Damul selected for grant program project |
Benmun "Bennie" Damul (MPH '25, Global Health track) has been selected for the Student Media Grants program from the Program on Conflict and Development (ConDev) at Texas A&M University. Damul will complete her photojournalism project, "Frames of Tenacity: A Visual Chronicle of Plateau's Resilience (Nigeria)," this summer in her hometown of Jos, Nigeria, supplementing her MPH practicum work.
