Hi, there!
As the saying goes, "March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb." In other words, we usually start with cold, wintry weather, but move on to mild and pleasant temperatures—a welcome transition to spring. No matter what the weather is, you can count on us for a friendly cup of tea when you attend the popular NationaliTeas series, or a thought-provoking panel discussion to broaden your worldview. Read more in this issue!
Healthy Together protocols are followed at MacMillan Hall and across campus. Staff will continue to meet remotely with students via phone, Zoom or Google Meet.

Don't Pack a Pest!

Miami University Education Abroad is pioneering an exciting new partnership with the Don’t Pack a Pest program at Oregon State University, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Don’t Pack a Pest (DPAP) is on a mission to educate travelers about the potential risks of traveling with undeclared agricultural materials in luggage. Invasive species can spread through academic travelers, so it’s important to be aware of what is permissible to pack when traveling.

Students: To find out more, visit dontpackapest.com
Faculty: To learn more about DPAP and associated research opportunities, contact Ryan Dye (dyer@miamioh.edu).
