Monday, March 17 marks Iona University's annual day of giving, a 24-hour event for the entire Iona community to come together and make a gift of any size to the designation of their choice. This is our opportunity to show Gael pride and help ensure that future Gaels have the same opportunities that you did to receive a transformative education.

"At Iona, I love the many opportunities and support we have when it comes to finding internships, making connections, and developing our skills for the future. With the help of mentors, I was able to gain experience at a tax internship with Karpos & Associates in New Rochelle, New York, which then led me to my dream internship at Ernst & Young in Stamford, Connecticut. Having the opportunity to receive two internships will allow me to gain valuable, on-the-job experience, and it is all due to the support I have here at Iona!

I have very high hopes for my future, and thanks to the generous support I've received and all that I’m learning at Iona, I know I can accomplish my goals and become successful."

The Gaels Go Further Mentoring Program kicked off the spring semester with an engaging Mentor Meet-up, bringing together mentors and mentees for meaningful networking and guidance. We were honored to have Cathy McCabe '85, Board of Trustees member and Co-Chair of the Gaels Go Further Advisory Board, share inspiring remarks, encouraging students to take full advantage of the program’s opportunities.

The Gaels Go Further Mentoring Program is dedicated to providing transformative mentorship and networking experiences that empower students to achieve excellence for years to come.

As CEO of 5W Public Relations and a leader in the PR industry, Matthew Caiola '05 was recently honored as Communications and PR Executive of the Year by the American Business Association and as one of PRDaily’s Top Communicators of the Year. 

Maria Morano '24

As a graduate of the NewYork-Presbyterian Iona School of Health Sciences, Maria Morano '24 is living her dream as a labor and delivery nurse at NewYork-Presbyterian Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns.

On February 7, the Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Arlington, VA held its 43rd Annual Ball. "It was fun to have so many Iona Alumni in attendance having a great time for a great cause!"
