Greetings,
We are excited to bring you an update on the progress of our UTA West campus. It’s been a busy few months, as the University continues to finalize plans and coordinate with regional partners. We held several outreach events in recent weeks and are delighted to share photos from the festivities below.

The UT System Board of Regents announced that it will increase funding for the Promise Plus scholarship program, allowing UTA to establish a new baseline of $100,000 (up from $85,000) for its signature Blaze Forward program. Any student whose family has an adjusted gross income of that amount or less and meets other eligibility requirements will not be charged tuition or mandatory fees. John Hall, vice president of administration and economic development, and Jeff Jeter, vice president of government relations, presented to the Parker County Chamber of Commerce (PCCC) on Nov. 13. They discussed the vision and planning behind the new campus, highlighting key facilities, innovative learning spaces, and community impact. They also shared insights on how the campus will enhance student experiences, foster collaboration, and support UTA’s broader educational mission.
