Hi there,
Back to school means two things for Global Initiatives: 1.) International Student Orientation and 2.) #MoveInMiami
First, we are excited to be welcoming around 400 new international students to campus over the next week. Check out the video that we showed to our new students at their welcome orientation session:

Secondly, study abroad is for every Miami student. #MoveInMiami gifts will allow students to study abroad or away during their Miami experience. Help us reach 50 gifts by move in day: August 22, 2019. The more gifts, the more students we can send abroad.

Miami University Graduate Originally from Luxembourg

"Well, I think that coming back with an American degree to Luxembourg is always a good opportunity to get nice jobs because it’s a big value. Here in Luxembourg, at the point when I went to university, we did not have a university yet in Luxembourg so you had to go abroad. Most people just went to the bordering cities, in Germany, Belgium or France, and if you come back with an American degree, which is still, in mind, a very good education, you’re better set at job interviews."
