Polar Bear Plunge is one of Clarksville’s coolest winter traditions and a chance to make a splash for a great cause. Brave participants of all ages are invited to take the exhilarating leap into icy water to raise awareness for water safety and help prevent drowning in our community. Fun and community spirit take center stage, and costumes are strongly encouraged, with categories like Best Individual Costume, Best Couple/Small Group, and Best Large Group adding extra laughter and cheer to the chilly day.
All proceeds directly support Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s free adaptive swim programs and group swim lessons for children, helping make life saving skills accessible to everyone. Whether you are plunging or cheering from the sidelines wrapped in your warmest layers, this event brings together courage, community, and the joy of giving back.
